King Power Stadium

Punter's Pick

Leicester start this game as favourites and are priced at 8/13 with Bet365 to take all three points. We feel that there will be goals in this one and are backing the 4/5 for over 2.5 goals with the same bookmaker. The corner count has also historically been high and backing over 10 corners at 4/5 also represents good value.

Second placed Leicester City welcome Everton to the King Power Stadium as they look to continue their push for a top four finish. These two have been evenly matched over the years but will be battling for different goals as Leicester excel in the top four and Everton look to avoid getting dragged into a relegation battle.

Leicester come into this game having won six games on the bounce in all competitions with the team losing just twice this season by the odd goal to Manchester United and Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers will be thrilled at how the team has responded since he took over midway through last season and the improvements across the board are plain to see since the departure of Claude Puel. Pundits have lauded the combination play of James Maddison and Jamie Vardy but the defence has been equally impressive with the Foxes not conceding a goal in their last three league games. The likes of Youri Tielemans and Ayoze Perez continue to chip in with goals from midfield and the team will be confident of continuing to play their expansive football and getting a result on Sunday.

Everton have had a poor season thus far and there has been constant pressure on manager Marco Silva during his tenure. The team are languishing in 16th place just four points above the relegation zone and a loss here could pull them down further. The most worrying thing for fans have been some of the performances of the team and they were outplayed by Norwich City in their last game. Despite enjoying home advantage, the team could not harness the energy of the crowd and Todd Cantwell linked up with Teemu Pukki to put the Canaries ahead. Dennis Srbeny made it two to hand Everton their 7th defeat of the season. Goals and creativity have been the obvious issue for the Toffees which is surprising given the talent in the team and the cumulative cost of the squad. Stars like Sigurdsson, Walcott and Richarlison are struggling to combine and the impact of summer signings Alex Iwobi and Moise Kean are yet to be felt. A losee here could signal the end of days for Silva in a period where managers are being culled.

In recent head to heads between these two, both have had their share of success. Last season saw each team secure an away victory with Richarlison and Sigurdsson helping Everton to a 2-1 win before Jamie Vardy avenged that defeat with a 58th minute winner at Goodison Park. The previous season both won at home so the actual matchup between the two is very close on paper and much will depend on who wants it more on the day.
