Bramall Lane

Punter's Pick

With Leicester’s superior quality all over the pitch, back the Foxes to take all three points at an appealing looking 5/4 to with Bet365. James Maddison has been Leicester’s standout player in the opening games of the season, and can be backed to score first at 15/2, or anytime at 11/4, both with Bet365.

Premier League new boys Sheffield United play host to Leicester City, with both sides unbeaten starts to the campaign on the line at Bramall Lane.

Impressive start for promoted Blades

With two games gone so far in the new season, the Blades have enjoyed something of a dream start in their return to the Premier League. An opening day point earned at Bournemouth (courtesy of veteran forward Billy Sharp) was followed by a solid 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace, giving the Blades an excellent platform on which to build.

Both games showcased what United will be building their campaign on – plenty of running and pressing, men behind the ball in an effort to squeeze and frustrate the opposition, and a liberal sprinkling of quality upfront to snatch a goal here and there. They are unlikely to be blowing teams away at any stage this season with that approach, but manager Chris Wilder will be more than happy if they continue to pick up points on a regular basis and keep their noses out of a relegation battle for as long as possible.

Leicester seeking first win

Two draws in two games have ensured Leicester have started the season undefeated, with games against Wolves and Chelsea safely negotiated in what looked like a tricky start to the campaign. The loss of Harry Maguire has not been too keenly felt at this stage so far, with Mason Mount’s strike last week for Chelsea the only goal they have conceded in their opening two fixtures.

Slightly more concerning for manager Brendon Rodgers will be his misfiring attack – the trio of Jamie Vardy, James Maddison and new signing Ayoze Perez do not look to be on the same wavelength just yet, with Vardy in particular not hitting his straps so far this season. However with a talented trio such as those three, it seems only a matter of time before they click and Leicester start racking up some goals to go with their tidy approach play and solid looking defense.

Team News

Sheffield United have an injury concern over John Fleck, but Callum Robinson has trained all week after limping off against Crystal Palace on Sunday and should be fit to take his place.
Summer signings Ravel Morrison and Lys Mousset could miss out again, with Tuesday’s Carabao Cup game against Blackburn likely to represent the pair’s first chance to impress manager Chris Wilder.

Leicester look likely to be without England full back Ben Chillwell for a second successive week, with next weekend’s fixture against Bournemouth a more likely return date. Veteran Christian Fuchs is likely to continue again at left back.

Leicester to have too much quality?

In theory this is the type of game Leicester need to be winning if they are to be considered top eight material and beyond, and with the quality in their lineup they should be able to find a way to unpick a stubborn Sheffield United defence en route to taking all three points in a tight clash.
